"Review "

Returned yesterday from ROC LAGO APPARTMENTS in Menorca. We left on Sunday morning 6 October which was also the day the complex was to close, something we were NOT made aware off. There was NO entertainment anymore; not a problem for us but if you are made to believe there’s entertainment (this week)you would be disappointed. Food was very tasty but NOT warm most of the time. There was a microwave and as it wasn’t too busy it was no problem . Apartment needs some updating BUT was perfectly adequate for our stay. MY main complaint was the lack of UK TV channels....SKY NEWS 24/7 that’s it..... We stayed at hotel across the road previously and they offered BBC 1 & 2 and ITV 1, 2, 3 & 4 so....it IS possible !!! We are not people who need to go out every night so I was disappointed . Saying that won’t stop us coming back though..... Hopefully with more choices on TV? Not many staff anymore but people who were there were very nice and friendly. PERFECT location of the complex!!!

"Struttura per poche pretese"

La struttura si presenta accogliente e il personale cordiale; sorge in una buonissima posizione, vicino alla spiaggia e circondata da ristoranti e bar, market e noleggi auto. C'è però molto da migliorare: la cena è abbastanza scadente, la pulizia non è delle migliori e a seconda del personale che si incontra all'arrivo vengono fornite informazioni differenti agli ospiti, per esempio a noi non era stato spiegato il funzionamento della formula "bevande incluse" e abbiamo dato per scontato che esse fossero,appunto, incluse, ma abbiamo dovuto pagare 2,30 euro per una bottiglia d'acqua a cena solo perché era imbottigliata e non depurata in caraffa. Inoltre, non sapevamo che la cena potesse essere sostituita con un pranzo al sacco, formula che avremmo sicuramente scelto, data la scarsità della cena offerta. Manca, inoltre, un posto in cui potersi sistemare prima di lasciare l'hotel alla volta dell'aeroporto. Essendo in una località di mare e sorgendo a pochi metri dalla spiaggia è normale che gli ospiti si godano il mare anche l'ultimo giorno ed è impensabile che possano poi sistemarsi prima del volo nel bagno di una piscina (femminile, poiché il maschile era chiuso) sporco e senza alcun tipo di appoggio ne appendino. La struttura è davvero per poche pretese e il rapporto qualità - prezzo bocciato.

Tuttavia, offriamo la possibilità di lasciare le valigie in hotel fino alla partenza e, per quanto possibile, cerchiamo di offrire l'opzione migliore prima della partenza. "Review"

We arrived on 4 May 2019 for a week shortly after the apartments opened for the season and were pleasantly surprised. Three adults and one 4 year old. The location was great for the beach (a short walk), the marina, rock scrambling and restaurants. The pool was amazing. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Virginia who ran the kids' club. She was very good with the children, doing crafts, playing games and especially playing pool games. The apartment was lovely except for the kitchen. Very small (which in itself wasn't a problem) but with very little storage space and no chopping board or spatula for use with the frying pans. All in all, a lovely place. We would certainly go again but not during the main holidays as it would be very busy.

"Very good apartments"

I would recommend these apartments and area. Clean, air con, kettle, toaster, hairdryer, quiet, Supermarket right across the road and shops. Bus stop not far. Right on the harbour/port which is lovely. We had a great balcony which got the sun from 10am until 7pm in May 2019 room no. 3036. Just a couple of little niggles but overall very good. I would suggest putting in a hand rail over the bath and maybe a bath mat in the bath as it was slippery and the kitchen was a little small and no work surface but everything we needed. only tiny cups, no mugs and glasses were small . I would recommend a boat trip to cala galdana. Restaurants lovely el gin, la tapas,
